Some Monday morning inspo for you all - lusting over my new favourite fabric - suede.
I didn't own a single item of suede up until last week when I went and bought a suede coat AND suede culottes, it then decided to reach 30 degrees in London, which I can assure you is definitely not suede weather.

Dull shades for a dull day; however, it was warm so warranted my legs and arms out!?
Oh, weather you are causing me some major outfit confusion at the moment.
I rocked this Prey Of London dress last week when I attended my friends birthday BBQ, the oversized, shapeless fit of the dress is not only right up my street but also perfect to cover the food baby I was about to grow, as I was at a BBQ quite renowned for it's delectable spread of the finest chargrilled food.
It goes something like this... the food appears, I become an unsociable pig, act like I haven't eaten for a week (quite untrue I can assure you), pile my plate sky high with burgers, rolls & potato salad and then, once scoffed I am able to become human again.
Basically, BBQ buffet = my favourite way to eat.
Enough about food (something I never say) and back to the dress, have you guys ever heard of Prey Of London? No? Well, me neither. It was a lovely surprise when they got in touch as the brand ethos is so a 'bit of me'. They are an online boutique founded in Shoreditch inspired by London, street style and the spirit of the night they mix vintage rock references with a street couture swagger - hellooooo!
Styled with layered necklaces from Happiness Boutique and my lace-up lovelies from Public Desire I was ready to hover around the buffet and eat my weight in burgers.

Yo, and Happy Friday bloggy internet friends, how are we all?
I am nearing the end of my week off and oh my, how productive it's been on the old blog front; has anyone noticed my 3 posts this week *ahem - pats self on back*
I did have a couple of outfits to shoot, but the weather has been a right arse this week and mega restricted me on this one fashun-blawgginggg requirement. God damn you rain. Anyway, keep a look out as I've got lots of outfit treats coming right up for you all. Suede culottes from H&M yesterday for a FIVER - say no more.
So, as the weather has interrupted my schedule (that makes me sound a lot more organised than I am) I thought about getting a 'fave reads' post up.
I spend an unhealthy part of my time reading blogs and perusing Insta for my next dose of outfit inspo so why not share my favourite witty fashionistas with you lovely lot!

This week has been one hell of a restful week, so much so I actually keep referring to it as something similar to a Yoga Retreat.
Catching up with friends and family and hitting up my old fave charity shop's has been bloody wonderful but I am now craving the hecticness of London, the tube (who have thought it) and good god, what I would do for a Pornstar Martini.
Booze free for 1 week now - achievement #YogaRetreat.
As I mentioned I have been visiting a few of the local charity shops and stumbled across some absolute gems; it was like they were waiting for me to come home, rescue them and take them back to London to flaunt about. Exactly what I am going to do - hello vintage get-up for LFW!
This skirt was one of the pieces I spotted, and for a mere £4 who cares if summer is over, I was having it. Styled with all black, leather and my Superstars it looks like something you could pick up in Urban Outfitters - don't you think?

I headed home last weekend to attend my friend's little boys christening, it was the most perfectly sunny day to be all hauled up in a cute village church with my old school friends celebrating such a lovely occasion!
Naturally, prior to the event I had the usual thoughts of 'what am I going to wear' running through my head and as per, Asos stepped in to help.
I love this red pleated A-line skirt as these days body con isn't really my bag (might be if I attended the gym, however) and teamed it with my fave off-the-shoulder top resulting somehow in what looks like a Spanish Latina cast-off fresh out of Mask of Zorro.

How and what makes you feel inspired?
I am experiencing a little bit of a style identity crisis - no idea why, maybe as my 29th birthday is on the horizon (what the actual F) I am questioning whether it's appropriate to rock a scrunchie and a crop top anymore? Actually, the crop top is a major no-no these days seeing as that washboard stomach is a mere memory. Anyway, I am feeling like a style transformation might be on the cards, nothing crazy as I'll always hold a torch for leopard print - just something a little more 'grown-up'.
In my times of style needs who do I look to... the almighty inspiration destination Pinterest of course!
I typed away searching my all time fave style icons, those go-to babes who have inspired me for years and who will definitely continue to. Don't worry I am not about to embark on a complete life/style overhaul, just update what I am already working with.
Ferne and Jaime are still firm faves of mine, as you can see in the last style icon post I lovingly featured them alongside Sienna and SJP. So in today's post, I have decided to inject some inspo from major babes Pandora and Ashley, whose blogs/Instas I have been following/liking/stalking/obsessing over *ahem* for the last couple of years.
Basically this combination is my ultimate inspo and if I could just take a smidgen of their style and sass and add it into my own swag then boom, I got my style identity with that little sprinkle of grown-up-ness! #30nextyearandwhat

Well check me out trialling an A/W trend already - aren't I just so fashion.
My days have suddenly gone from SS15 to AW15, the September issues dropped and BAM, hello fall and all the new season delights you bring with you - welcome to my wardrobe.
I am so done with this topsy-turvy weather, let it just be cold already so I can get those oversized sweaters and camel coats out the basement. Yes, I actually have a basement. It's a place where the not in season part of mine and my housemates wardrobes can reside, amongst other housey stuff like our never used lawn mower and various tools which we have no idea how to use. Oh, the joy when you open up those suitcases to reveal boots you forgot you owned and tartan scarfs so perfect they literally complete most winter looks.
Getting back to that trend I'm trialling... this red and camel combo (a big catwalk hitter dontcha know) was inspired by a look I spotted over at Jason Wu RTW Fall 2015 and in true Abbie/London life style dressed down with my trusty Adidas Superstars. It's definitely got me in the mood to don some autumnal colours and get that A/W party started.

Sundays are for chilling, that's my motto, so that's exactly what I am doing today; me, my housemate's, the sofa and my fave blog reads - pretty perfect combo eh! I must admit it feels criminal to stay in on such a sunny day like today, however sometimes, you just gotta mack out in your sweats - you know what I mean?
In and amongst the macking out I thought I would finally get the outfit up that I wore to my best friends engagement party the other week...
This paisley flare and off the shoulder combo is the closest I have come to rocking the 70s trend, I am more of a 90's babe than 70s boho chick, but that's what I LOVE about fashion -experimenting with different styles, eras, trends and shapes whilst putting your own stamp on the whole look.
These Missguided Flares are super flattering and a great way to make those ole legs look that wee bit longer - hooray, and guess what, they are now down to £8 - hooray again!
